Barbados' youngster Thierry Gale was the first local player to sign professional. The 18-years-old winger plays for Budapest Honvéd, in Soproni Liga, the top flight of Hungary. He played 8 matches and scored once against Mezokovesdi in 2020/2021 season. Wearing the #34, the winger also scored one goal and one assist in two matches in Magyar Kup, the hulgarian cup.

Previously, he was a member of Notre Dame and Pro-Shottas Academy, in Barbados.

Thierry Gale's first goal with Men's National Team jersey was in 4-nil victory over saint-Martin in Concacaf Nations League. Gale also represented Barbados at U17, U20 and U23 levels. Gale is son of former barbadian footballer Dwayne Gale, that was the champion of Barbados Premier League twice for Paradise FC and once for Notre Dame, in the early 2000s. |
