A Caymanian in the country of Gareth Bale

The 21 years-old left winger Anthony Nelson played the 2018-2019 season for Llanelli Town AFC


Anthony Nelson was born in George Town in Grand Cayman and since his 10 years old he played football for
Tigers FC. His debut in the CIFA Premier League happened when he was only at 15-16 years old. He joined
Valparaiso University in the United States in season 2016/2017. His first time playing in Europe happen in
when he joined English-side Bognor Regis in season 2017/2018.

Nelson completed season 2018/2019 playing for Llaneli Town AFC in JD Welsh Premier League with 20
matches and one assist. The opportunity to play in Wales came through his agent, Thomas Boyo. “I originally
went into preseason with a Welsh club in the second division. However at the end of July I was offered to play
a preseason game with Llanelli, which fortunately went well. And I signed for the 18/19 season”, he explained.
I have been playing in Wales just one year but spent the season before playing in England.

Portmore United the champion of FLOW Caribbean Club Championship

During 12 and 16 of may were played the FLOW Caribbean Club Championship. The competition was
played for only four teams in the edition of 2019. Jamaicans Portmore United annd Waterhouse and
haitians AS Capoise and Real Hope Academy faced each other in a three games decision for each
club.

The team who would finish on the top would be conored the champion and will face SV Robinhood
from Suriname that won Caribbean Club Shield Championship to define who will be the big champion
of Caribbean.

Matchday 1


On the first match day, an earlier goal scored in 4th minute by Jamaican forward Javon East gave
Portmore United an win over Real Hope Academy.

Stefan Ristic: The serbian coaching in Dominican Republic

The UEFA A lincensed serbian coach Stefan Ristic were announced as Delfines Del Este FC head
coach after the brazilian coach Luciano Mattos left the Dominican Republic club for personal reasons
after Matchday 5.
At 27-years-old, Ristic already coached canadian League One Weterloo Region and Al jazeera in QCFL Qatar and also
worked with academies. He came to Dominican Republic to a new challenge in a far from Serbia land.

So far for Delfines he coached the club in to matches:
Matchday 6: Delfines del Este FC 0 x 2 Cibao FC on May 5th, 2019 in Panamericano de San Cristóbal;
Matchday 7:Barcelona Atlético 2 x 1 Delfines del Este FC May 12th, 2019 in Estadio Parque Del Este;
Matchday 8: Bye

Stefan Ristic: My name is Stefan Ristić, serbian and I was born in Jagodina - Serbia.
Coaching career: Waterloo Region (Canada 1), Al Jazeera (QCFL Qatar)... Before that i worked only
with academies.

A Puerto Rican in Uruguay

The traditional Uruguayan football is a unkown land for many of caribbean players and people.
A reality far from the amateur leagues over many of Caribbean Football Leagues.


But since July 2018 the U20 Puerto Rico goalkeeper José Calderón, 19, is playing for
CC y D El Tanque Sisley from Uruguay. First he played for the U19 team and now he is hoping
to debut on the senior team as the competition is hoped to start next weekend.
