Keithy Simpson travelling around the football

Jamaica is one of the mainly countries that product great footballers in Caribbean as we saw in Gold Cup 2017 when they arrived at final against United States. Keithy Simpson is na exemple of those players that doesn’t wait and see the opportunites where they are and take them.

He is a player that can counts many stories as he already played in Europe, North and Central America and caribbean with also expierence for his country. The 27 years old is almost a utility player as he can play as wing back and winger as also midfield.

Career
Simpson started playing at Bull Bay FC (his childhood club) and he tells us that playing there he learnt everything around the game and its discipline. Playing Always higher than his age group he broke in the national program at 15 years old for Jamaica U17 National Team.

After left his childhood club he joined Cavaliers SC and then he moved to Sporting Central Academy FC from them he went on loan to Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer (MLS) spending one season. Returned home he got what he called as a blessed year joining then Portmore United Fc for a short stint and joining Tivoli Gardens FC. After two years with Tivoli, he was appointed as the captain at age of 22 and was also the captain of Jamaica U23 captain.

At the same time, he travelled to Trinidad & Tobago on a short trial to North East Stars in the TT PRO League. He had na enjoyable season in Trinidad by the comands of the coach Angus Eve. In his second season he got a deal in Finland’s Veikkausliiga playing for VPS Vaasa. He tells that one of his greatest moments in his career was playing in the Europe League Qualifiers and he debut for the Reggae Boyz in 2014. In ice land, he also played for Kokkonen side OPS. After that he joined CD Águila in El Salvador to play Liga Pepsi.

Keithy Simpson joined back TT PRO League when he signed for Club Sando FC and earlier this year he joined San Juan Jabloteh to play CFU Club Championship 2017 where they got a place in the CONCACAF Scotiabank Champions League that will start now in August.
