CHECK HOW WAS THE RETURN OF CARIBBEAN PLAYERS IN COSTA RICA

The action of the football in Costa Rica returned yesterday. The Liga Promérica Clausura was
interrupted since March 15th, in the match day 15. The league resumed yesterday with the Matchday
16. Four out five caribbean players played for their sides.

Matchday 16

La U Universitarios FC 1 x 3 Santos Guapilés

25-years-old jamaican striker Javon East scored the third goal of his team in the win by 3-1 over La
U Universitarios FC. He scored in 71 minute.

East is the season topscorer with 20 goals (12 goal in Apertura and 8 in Clausura).

Hernán Fener opened the scorer in 28 minute from penalty kick. Juan Madriagal drew the game. Juan Fallas scored an own goal in 63 and Javon East scored the third for AD Santos Guapilés.

CS Cartaginés 0 x 2 LD Alajuelense

Other Caribbean that saw action was cuban center forward Marcel Hernandez. He come off from the
bench in 60 minute but didn't avoid his team of defeat against LD Alajuelense by 2-0. Dylan Flores
and Alexander López scored for the visitors.

AD Municipal Grecia 1 x 0 AD Municipal Pérez Zeledón

Jamaican center forward Craig Foster played 73 minutes for AD Municipal Pérez Zeledón in the
defeat by AD Municipal Grecia. The only goal of the match was scored by José Vargas in minute 55.

Deportivo Saprissa 1 x 0 CS Herediano

Trinidad & Tobago International center back Aubrey David played the full match in the win of
Deportivo Saprissa over CS Herediano. Haitian forward Naël Élysse didn't was named to 18-man
squad.

The only goal of the match was scoree by Michael Barrantes in 8th minute.
