Portmore United the champion of FLOW Caribbean Club Championship

During 12 and 16 of may were played the FLOW Caribbean Club Championship. The competition was
played for only four teams in the edition of 2019. Jamaicans Portmore United annd Waterhouse and
haitians AS Capoise and Real Hope Academy faced each other in a three games decision for each
club.

The team who would finish on the top would be conored the champion and will face SV Robinhood
from Suriname that won Caribbean Club Shield Championship to define who will be the big champion
of Caribbean.

Let's see how was the championship:


Matchday 1


On the first match day, an earlier goal scored in 4th minute by Jamaican forward Javon East gave
Portmore United an win over Real Hope Academy.





On the other match, Waterhouse FC opened an advantage of 2-0 on the first half with goals of Andre
Fletcher (24min) and Keithy Simpson (26min by penalty shot) but on the second half AS Capoise
equalized the game with goals of Ivenet Noel (56min) and Frantz Moise (57min).


Matchday 2


In the next game, Real Hope Academy lost by 2-nil to Waterhouse FC. Two first half goals scored by
Keithy Simpson (19min) and Stephen Williams (36min) gave the jamaican side the first win on the
championship.


Jovan East was the hero again for Portmore United as he scored the lone goal of the match at 73
minutes to give his side the second win.


Matchday 3


On the matchday the jamaican faced jamaican and haitian faced haitian. AS Capoise and Real Hope
Academy made a game with five goals. Desir Spencer putted Real Hope Academy in front of the game
scoring in the first minute of the match. Frantz Moise scored the equalizer in 35 minute. Denilson Pierre
scored an own goal an putted AS Capoise ahead on the game in 52 minute. The third goal happened in
minute 55 again with Moise. Roody Joseph scored one more for Real Hope Academy in minute 82 but
wasn’t enough.


On the other game, Javon East scored from the penalty in 25th minute as Andre Fletcher scored for
Waterhouse FC the equalizer in minute 52.


Final Table:


Portmore United (Champion) finished with 7 points, in second Waterhouse FC is with 5 points, in third
AS Capoise with 4 points (All of three qualified for Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League
2019-2020) and Real Hope Academy with zero points.


Top scorers

Frantz Moise and Jovan East scoed three goals each; Andre Fletcher and Keithy Simpson finished the
championship with two goals each, scored one goal on the tournament Stephen Williams, Yvenet Noel,
Spencer Désir and Roody Joseph.

Portmore United will now face SV Robinhood in the big final, let's see who will be the champion of
