The most in form forwards in the Caribbean National Teams

In the past months the Caribbean football zone saw very much action at International level. Concacaf World Cup Qualification, Gold Cup Preliminary Round and 2021 Gold Cup were played since March. Once again we had the pleasure to see many goals. We selected here the most in form forward considering the competitions mentioned above. Good reading!

Nigel Hasselbaink (Suriname): 

Concacaf World Cup Qualification: 6 goals/ 4 games

2021 Gold Cup: 1 goal/3 games

The surinamese striker was in form during the Concacaf World Cup Qualification. He scored two hat tricks: one versus Aruba and other versus Bermuda. Otherwise, the 30-years-old also scored one goal versus Guadeloupe in the 2021 Gold Cup. 

Hasselbaink had two of his goals named to the Top 10 goals of Concacaf World Cup Qualification first round Window 1. Watch bellow:

Lyle Taylor (Montserrat): 

Concacaf World Cup Qualification: 5 goals/ 4 games

2021 Gold Cup Preliminary Round: 1 goal/1 game

Lyle Taylor is the best player of Montserrat and he proves that with his goals. He scored 5 goals in 4 matches in the Concacaf World Cup Qualification. His goal versus El Salvador was named to the Top 10 goals of the first round. Watch his goal in the video:

He scored two braces vs Antigua & Barbuda and Grenada. The 31-years-old scored one goal versus Trinidad & Tobago in the Gold Cup Preliminary Round. 

Duckens Nazon (Haiti):

Concacaf World Cup Qualification: 4 goals/ 6 games

2021 Gold Cup Qualification: 3 goal/2 games

2021 Gold Cup: 0 goal/ 1 game

Haitian star Duckens Nazon scored 4 goals versus Turks & Caicos Islands in the Concacaf World Cup Qualification. He scored two goals versus St. Vincent & The Grenadines and one goal versus Bermuda in the Gold Cup Preliminary Round.

Pierrot scored a hattrick vs Turks & Caicos Island in Haiti 10-0 win in Concacaf World Cup Qualification first round and scored another hat trick vs Bermuda in the Gold Cup Preliminary Round and one goal versus St. Vincent & The Grenadines. 

Carnejy Antoine (Haiti): 

Concacaf World Cup Qualification: 3 goals/ 3 games

2021 Gold Cup Preliminary Round: 1 goal/ 2 games

2021 Gold Cup: 1 goals/3 games

Antoine joined Haiti Men's National Team in the Concacaf World Cup Qualification and scored a hattrick on his debut versus Turks & Caicos Island. One of his goals was named as the most beautiful of window 2. Watch his goal here:

He also scored versus St. Vincent & The Grenadines in the Gold Cup Preliminary Round and scored versus Martinique in the 2021 Gold Cup. 

Keithroy Freeman (St. Kitts & Nevis): 

Concacaf World Cup Qualification: 4 goals/ 5 games

The kittian striker scored two braces in his country's incredible first round campaign in the Concacaf World Cup Qualification versus Guyana and Bahamas. 

Nahki Wells (Bermuda): 

 

2021 Gold Cup Preliminary Round: 4 goals/2 games

Bermudian star Nahki Wells didn't play the Concacaf World Cup Qualification but he was in the Gold Cup Preliminary Round.  He scored a hat-trick versus Barbados (8-0 to Bermuda) and scored one goal in their 4-1 loss to Haiti.

Ricardo Rivera (Puerto Rico):

Concacaf World Cup Qualification: 4 goals/ 4 games

The Puerto rican forward scored an important goal vs Trinidad & Tobago in their 1-1 draw. He scored a brace vs Bahamas and once vs Guyana.

Shamar Nicholson (Jamaica): 

Concacaf World Cup Qualification: 2 goals/ 3 matches

2021 Gold Cup: 1 goal/ 4 games

Nicholson has been the man-goal of the Jamaica National Team. He scored in the match opener versus Mexico (2-1 to the Mexicans) and also in the 1-1 draw versus Costa Rica. He also scored against Suriname in the 2021 Gold Cup.

Gleofilo Vlijter (Suriname): 

Concacaf World Cup Qualification: 1 goal/ 4 games

2021 Gold Cup: 2 goals/3 games

The surinamese rising star scored one goal in the Concacaf World Cup Qualification. He scored twice in the Gold Cup group stage which leveled him as the all-time top scorer of Suriname with 13 goals.
