The small island of Anguilla isn't a famous name in football of the CFU (Caribbean Footbll Union) region. Occuping the position of 206th in the last ranking FIFA and as their best position 199th, is hard to imagine how is the football right there and even less that there are a place that can product good footballers.
However, players like Germain Hughes, are showing that the things aren't so like that. Last year the 20 years old midfield got a schoolarship at University of Wast Indies campus of Cave Hill in Barbados and then he joined the club of the university: UWI Blackbirds FC. There he is showing his worth being part of the campaign of the team that won the Barbados Digicel Premier League 2016 in his first year with the team.

In 2015, he was selected to represent the Caribbean U19 All Star Team in Copa Rayados tournament in Santo Antonio, Texas what he counts as a great expierence. In addiction, recently he had some great expierence and exposure in Europe (England, Malta and Ireland) which was for him a bity challenge due the weather condition but it was definitely "my most enjoyable and fulfilling football expierence and I hope to be back up there pretty soon" he said.
